The UK’s Brodsky Quartet formed fifty one years ago in 1972 when its two founding members, Jacqueline Thomas and Ian Belton were just 10 and 11 years old. A lifetime of music making later, they have a reputation for adventurous crossovers tempered by a solid love of classical repertoire. With long term violist and arranger Paul Cassidy, and new first violinist Krysia Osostowicz, the quartet return to Australia for the Canberra International Music Festival to celebrate their past and their future.
