Sydney-based trombonist Paolo Franks completed his undergraduate studies at Sydney Conservatorium in 2021. Paolo commenced his trombone studies in 2015 with Michael Wyborn, after which he studied with Christopher Harris, Nick Byrne and Scott Kinmont at Sydney Conservatorium. Since graduating, Paolo has established and maintained a busy schedule as a freelance musician in Sydney. Paolo has performed with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Opera Australia Orchestra, as well as being engaged for recording sessions with the Sydney Scoring Orchestra. In addition to being an orchestral trombonist, Paolo has performed with Camerata Antica on bass sackbut.
