2023 Festival Line Up

2023 FESTIVAL The 2023 program has now been launched!

The exciting headline acts of the 2023 Canberra International Music Festival paint a musical portrait of our contemporary world.  Under the motto THE CHILD WITHIN, we invite you to listen to a new world as we enter the enchanted forest of our children’s imagination. Through the magic of music, we seek to find the child inside all of us.

Festival Pass Experience all 20 concerts in the Festival’s main program

A Festival Pass gives you entry to all the concerts in the main program and priority seating for all concerts at Fitters’ Workshop.  Join fellow music lovers for the full Festival experience!  Festival Pass holders will also be invited to exclusive Festival events, available to Pass Holders only.

Festival Pass

The Festival Pass gives you access to the 20 concerts featured in the main festival program and reserved seating in Fitters’ Workshop. It is a saving of $200 compared to the cost of single tickets.

Please note that the breakfasts and the Festival Trip are not included in the Festival Pass and must be purchased separately.

Adventure Pass

Make you festival experience a music adventure!  Book five or more concerts from the main festival program and you receive a 10% discount.  Simply book your tickets and contact the office afterwards to receive your 10% refund.

Single tickets

All concerts in Fitters’ Workshop have allocated seating.

French for Breakfast

The ‘French for Breakfast’ concerts are held in the mornings of 1 to 6 May at smaller venues across Canberra.  Details can be found under individual concerts. The ticket price includes a light breakfast.

Please note that the breakfast concerts are not included in the Festival Pass or Adventure Pass and need to be purchased separately.

Festival Trip – Taste of the Country

The Taste of the Country trip is a full day tour exploring the delights of the Canberra region.   The coach leaves Canberra at 10.30am and returns at 4.30pm. The trip includes a two-course lunch with wine at a local winery, wine tasting and two recitals.

Please note that the Festival Trip is not included in the Festival Pass or Adventure Pass and need to be purchased separately.
